Mold

Don't Let Mold Take Over

Most people know that mold grows in damp areas, but many don’t know how easily it can grow in many different areas of a home or apartment building. Mold can develop in the shower, bathroom, near pipes, in the basement, and in the attic. It also grows very rapidly and is harder to remove the more it grows. It can also become a health concern for vulnerable groups such as the elderly and young children.

QCS will solve your mold issue by assessing the location and severity of the mold, isolating it, providing a detailed outline of cost and extent of damage and of course, full-service mold removal and remediation. Whether you need mold assistance with an individual residential home or large commercial property, QCS is just one call away!

Our Mold Removal Process

Initial Inspection

The QCS team will assess the location of the mold and will take extensive photographs to show all areas of any visible discolorations or possible mold growth.

Containment

Once the source of the mold is identified, we’ll strategically contain it to prevent further damage from occurring. During this process, we will block all air flow to electrical outlets, A/C ducting and/or any other openings that would breach containment area.

Damage Inspection

Once the mold is contained, we will conduct further visual inspection for any microbial growth or fungus and/or damaged wall material. QCS will document any additional findings of moisture intrusion.

Remediation

After all mold has been identified and contained, QCS will then carefully remove it by attacking the source of the mold and extracting any damaged materials. Once the mold has been removed, QCS will resurface all affected structural areas by using grinders and sanders to remove any additional microbial growth. We will also surface clean with a moldicide application and decontaminate all wood members with appropriate chemical application.

Air Scrubbing

Following the remediation procedure air scrubbers will be installed in the containment areas and operated until suitable air quality is achieved.

Post Remediation Assessment

Post remediation testing is required to validate the microbial remediation process. Upon completion of our remediation technique, we will devise a plan for the re-build of damaged structures.
